Opened in spring 2003, MonteLago Village
reminisces an old-world Italian lakeside village with quaint cobblestone
streets, piazzas, waterfront restaurants, lakeside boat docks, and
specialty boutiques coupled with luxury condominiums on the floors above,
as well as the 40,000 square foot European-themed Casino MonteLago, the AAA
Five Diamond Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, and Spa Vita di Lago.
Inspired by the beauty of centuries-old villages,
MonteLago Village is a “piccolo” community, an intimate
gathering place whose layout draws upon generations of experience that have
gone into the evolution of European lakeside villages. The retail village
evokes the charm of Northern Italy’s lake region, while the hotel and
spa exude the casual elegance of Tuscany. Nestled on the hillside, Casino
MonteLago incorporates Italian architectural elements that merge gracefully
with the natural topography.
Decorating MonteLago Village’s waterfront is the
MonteLago Village Marina, Westrec Marina’s newest expansion servicing
the lake’s western cove with watercraft and yacht rentals. From the
Marina, guests and residents may rent electric boats and watercrafts, take
romantic gondola cruises, or book yachts for special events. The focal
point of MonteLago Village is a magnificent bridge spanning Lake Las Vegas,
modeled after the Pontevecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy, standing as a
